Laser Technical Office is in charge of Research and Development of its own products and of the products ordered by the customers. In fact, Laser manufactures dedicated Hardware and Software, finding out innovative solutions using the most modern and competitive devices available on the market. The developed and expert skills of the technical staff are particularly exhaustive in the field of digital electronics of 32 bit complex systems, automotive injection products, analogical and powerful electronics for power pack and engine control, micro-controller systems 8/16 bit.

The designs developed, after an engineering phase, are ready to be produced, partly as Company products sold on a large scale in the world market, partly, as electronic systems and units customised according to the customers’ specifications. Customers who ask Laser to design products using innovative technical solutions can obtain some financial support as provided for Norm 593/00 and Regional Laws, getting free grant funding up to 50% of the designing costs of Laser.

In fact, Laser is qualified as MIUR (Ministry of Education, University, Scientific and Technological Research) Laboratory and is recorded in the register of the External Laboratories of Research (ref. G.U. n°120 del 24\05\96), as a Company able to design highly technological and innovative electronic equipment.

Laser can also make electromagnetic compatibility tests in its own laboratory,
such as:
·  pre-conformity tests according to EN 61000-4-2 (electrostatic discharges).
·  pre-conformity tests according to EN 61000-4-4 (fast transient\burst).
·  pre-conformity tests of conducted emission.
·  pre-conformity tests of conducted susceptibility.
·  pre-conformity tests about radiated emission and radiated susceptibility.
