Preliminary activity to define costs:
Laser makes some preliminary cost analysis in order to define the cost of the development of the product and its final cost, to allow the customer to chose the kind of activity since the very beginning of the designing phase. Laser is deeply rooted in the market and owns the information needed to this kind of activity, which is very important.
Layout drawing and components definition:
We can draw the electrical design, starting from the approximate and non-definitive electrical schematic, or from simple rough drawings. At the moment we are able to work with the following platforms that are continuously updated:

Prototype production:
Laser srl is equipped to produce prototypes making, in short time, all the pieces needed for the technical and productive tests. A skilled team, highly qualified is in charge of this task, from the purchasing of the parts to the assembly and final testing of the prototypes. The department is equipped with specific and proper tools, such as assembling BGA and micro BGA on small quantities, getting excellent results.
Conformity test and product qualification:
Laser srl has a proper laboratory for the conformity tests in which are made all the pre-conformity tests of the products. We are equipped to undertake emission and susceptibility testing; both radiated and conducted, in high and low voltage (with the specific equipment for the automotive sector). In the laboratory there is an anechoic room of about 1.5 metres per side, able to store the most of the products. We may perform ESD tests, even for the automotive sector, with proper equipment.
We own a climatic chamber for environmental tests from -50°C to +150°C, with a controlled humidity, freezer for heating shocks and low temperature testing.
Production of testing systems:
Laser srl can develop the testing systems of the products made. We can provide functional tests, simulating the features of complex machines, even by building some electronic pieces expressly for that reason, or by the use of a personal computer provided with software developed on that purpose. We can also provide tests in ATE System circuits, developing both the fixture and the testing software. In this field, we may also make some automatic visual tests using tools for the optical inspection. We are so able to provide any kind of control and test needed.
Customer care and service:
Laser srl has a technical service department that supports the initial introduction in the market of the product and its maintenance along the time. We can provide the repairing and updating of the products we manufacture, in agreed times and providing detailed reports about the activities carried out. We can also collect all those results in a database useful for quality statistics that are important for future improvements (the Service office works closely with the R. & D. office in order to have a fast market information flow and then act quickly).
